Tashkent Medical Academy is a government medical institution that functions under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Science & Higher Education. In 1990, two medical institutes were established viz. First Tashkent & Second Tashkent Medical Institute. Later in 2005, both old institutes were abolished and finally Tashkent Medical Academy was established. It is the first choice of Indian students for pursuing MBBS in Uzbekistan.
