  2. Getting Started Moving freight by rail rather than road can seem like a daunting task but is achievable. It can offer a new and exciting way to move goods which can help towards reducing carbon emissions, something that is good for you, your customer and the planet. Working together, Freight Operating Companies or dedicated multi modal shift logistic groups can carry out long hauls whilst hauliers undertake the drop off/collection at either end of a process.
