Goldwater Scholarship Award - 13th winner from MassBay Community College • Inducted into Phi Theta Kappa • Currently working part-time at SBH Sciences, Inc. in Natick as an undergraduate • Planned graduation from MBCC in May 2008
The Biotechnology and Forensic DNA Science Program at MassBay • Created in 1995 by Dr. Bruce Jackson, a nationally recognized forensic DNA expert and molecular geneticist • Ongoing and national prostate and breast cancer research project • Hands-on instruction using real criminal and anthropological cases • Major program focus on mitochondrial DNA analysis • Collaborators include: FBI, Armed Forces DNA Identification Labs (AFDIL), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Dr. Bruce Jackson (alias Dr. J.)
