  2. What is delta-8 THC? Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, or Delta-8 THC, is a psychoactive substance found in the Cannabis sativa plant, of which marijuana and hemp are two varieties. Delta-8 THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids produced naturally by the cannabis plant but is not found significantly in it. Naturally, concentrated amounts of Delta-8 THC are manufactured from cannabidiol derived from hemp.

  3. Why is it popular? Delta-8 THC is popular for various reasons. For starters, it isn’t as potent as Delta-9 THC. So, if someone wants a less intense experience devoid of the anxiety that comes with consuming Delta-9 THC, Delta-8 is worthwhile. Additionally, Delta-8 isn’t as regulated as Delta-9 THC, making it legal in parts of the country where Delta-9 usage has strict legal ramifications.
