  2. I began the Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Educational Technology program in Fall 2015. Currently, I plan to graduate with a M.Ed. in Summer of 2017. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016

The reason I am enrolled in this Internet in K-12 Instruction course is that it fits perfectly with one of my short-term career goals of becoming a virtual high school instructor with Florida Virtual School.   4. In Spring 2015, I graduated from Polk State College with my B.A.S. in Business Administration. Also, I am enrolled in the Educator Preparation Institute at PSC. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016

  5. Currently, I hold Eligibility for Teaching Certification in the state of Florida. This month, after completing the EPI program, I will hold a 5-year Professional Teaching Certificate in Business Education 6-12. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016

  6. As a substitute teacher for Polk County schools for over two years, I have gained invaluable experience. This will be very useful in my short-term career goals of becoming a virtual teacher with Florida Virtual School or becoming an Instructional Technologist at the Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School. I am passionate about the integration of technology into modern-day education, specifically distance learning and the use of video games and virtual reality in secondary and higher education levels. Because I attended full-time online classes through middle and high school, then progressed to complete many college courses online, I believe that technology is an extremely valuable curriculum, assessment, and communication tool that should be integrated into education at every level.

  8. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016 I live in Winter Haven, Florida with my parents and cat, Iggy. I also own two horses, Zippin (left) and SkyBug (right), who are both American Paint horses.

  9. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016 My hobbies include cosplay, baking, chess, and digital design. I also enjoy playing tennis, although I can’t right now due to the Florida heat!

  10. Rosemary Reynolds EME5405 Summer 2016 My favorite places to visit in Central Florida include Bok Tower Gardens (carillon tower) in Lake Wales and the Morse Museum of Art (home of the Tiffany stained glass collection) in Winter Park.
