  2. INTRODUCTION The following is an article extract about cloning from the Sunday Times newspaper, 27 August, 2000

  3. 1A cell from the udder of a Finn Dorset ewe is taken to be cloned. The mammary cell contains copies of all genes needed to produce a sheep. 2 Meanwhile an unfertilised egg cell is taken from a Scottish Blackfaced ewe.
