  2. in-vitro fertilization also known as IVF is an effective reproductive technology that helps women to become pregnant successfully. • This procedure involves fertilizing an egg, releasing it outside the body, and then implanting it in the woman's uterus. • Many babies are born every year through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). • Many couples who cannot naturally become parents can visit the best IVF center in India and make their dream come true. • The first step is to see an IVF specialist to properly diagnose your infertility.

  3. If natural conception is not possible, fertility treatment is required. In general, you need IVF treatment if you have any of the following problems: • Fallopian Tube Blockage • Endometriosis • Ovulation Issues • Fibroids in Uterus • Tubal Sterilization  • Insufficient Sperm Production • Unexplained Infertility • Cancer and Fertility Preservation • Other Health Issues

  4. Infertility in women is common and can be caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid issues, premature ovarian failure, pelvic surgery, cervical surgery, Endometriosis, cervical mucus problems, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), or even taking certain medications. Some of the potential side effects of IVF include: • Breathing Difficulties • Irritability • Sleeping Difficulties  • Vomiting and Nausea • Ovarian Insufficiency

  5. Male infertility is caused by a variety of factors, including low sperm count, abnormal sperm, testicular surgery, testicular cancer, testicle infections, sterilization, ejaculation disorders, hypogonadism, and the use of certain medicines. Before beginning an IVF cycle, you and your partner must undergo various screenings, which include: • Uterine Examination • Analysis of Sperm • Ovarian Reserve Testing  • Infectious Disease Screening

  6. 1) Ovarian stimulation • You will need multiple eggs to start the IVF treatment because some eggs are either unable to fertilize or may develop after fertilization.  • Proper medications are required for ovarian stimulation, oocyte maturation, preventing premature ovulation, and preparing the uterine lining.

  7. 2) Egg retrieval • Egg retrieval can be done 34 to 36 hours before ovulation after the last injection. • Here, you will be given pain medication and after the procedure, you may experience cramping or pressure.

  8. 3) Sperm retrieval • This procedure is used to obtain sperm for reproduction. • Sometimes, if surgery is necessary, doctors can remove the sperm directly from the testicles.

  9. 4) Fertilization • During this procedure, the IVF specialist checks for healthy sperm and mature eggs and then injects the healthy sperm into each mature egg.

  10. 5) Embryo transfer • This usually occurs two to five days after egg retrieval. • Usually, this process is painless. After egg retrieval, the embryo will implant in the lining of the uterus. • Read also: Things You Must Discuss with an IVF Specialist • Test tube baby and IVF are considered to be the same procedure. • A test tube baby is conceived in a laboratory through the scientific process of IVF.
