  1. Learn Rummy Rules and Strategy for Effective Gameplay Rummy is a tactical card game for any number of players (even though it is generally played with two to six players). Your aim is to dispose all the cards in your hand and attain the maximum points to win. In addition to discarding, there are two methods to gain points and dispose cards in your hand, i.e., melding and laying off. Here are some rummy rules that will help you clearly win this game: 1. First of all in the game, strive to put aside high value cards such as face cards and aces to meld. In that way, you can increase your overall points. 2. You can meld or layoff before time in the game, only if you can choose additional high value cards. These cards can be used for incomplete melds afterwards in the game to increase your whole points. 3. Always try to find layoffs after your opponent player’s meld to maximize your points and reduce deadwood points. You can search for these layoffs whether in books or runs. For example, you see a book including the ten hearts, ten spades, and the ten diamonds. You have the ten clubs and make a decision to layoff. 4. Ignore melding aces low on a run as these melds are of no value. 5. After that in the game, try to remove your high value cards to reduce deadwood points you may get trapped with. 6. Consider what cards are not being removed (particularly high value cards). You can guess what your opponent players in hand depend on what melds has been played and what cards have been removed. If possible, you want to wait to layoff your high value cards on the concluding card of the game so your opponent player will not have an opportunity to pick it up. Warning! This is a risky move as you may get wedged with deadwood points, but if you are vigilant on your opponent, you have a big chance to increase your overall score and reduce your opponents’ scores. At last, learn more significant rummy rules to be a star player of this game.
