Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG 2024) is the biggest international exhibition of Bangladesh's apparel and textile sector machinery. The international exhibition of all types of state-of-the-art equipment in the ready-made garments and textile sector started on Thursday (February 1).
Prime Minister's Adviser on Private Industries and Investment Salman F Rahman inaugurated the four-day international exhibition titled “The 18th Dhaka Int’l Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition” at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. Around 1,100 companies from 33 countries participated in this exhibition taking over 1600 booths.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Mohammad Hatem, Executive President of BKMEA and Mohammad Ali Khokon, President of BTMA along with Md. Amin Helaly, Senior Vice President of FBCCI; Md. Fazlul Haque, Vice President, BTMA; Fayazur Rahman Bhuiyan, Vice President, BTMA; Md. Saleudh Zaman Khan, Vice President, BTMA and others.
Salman F Rahman said regarding DTG, “The event has become one of the biggest in our country. All kinds of energy efficient appliances, as well as, sustainable chemical products are on display.
