  1. SamirKarnik, an eminent film director, producer and screen writer of Hindi movies, made his directorial debut in the year 2004 with the film, Kyun Ho Gaya Na. His other vital creations that was the result of his creative excellence were Heroes, NanheJaisalmer, YamlaPaglaDeewana and Chaar Din kiChandni. His most of the movies have Punjabi backdrop, as he is quite fascinated by the Punjabi culture. Born to a Maharastrian family, SamirKarnik is extremely fond of Punjabi culture, food and their fondness for people. It is his love and regards for the culture that well reflects in most of his movies, be it in the song, dialogue, casting and the presentation of the movies.
