The motorcyclist sustained serious leg injuries. Within 2 hours of the accident the 17 year old blew a .22, which was over twice the legal limit. The Post has been named in this lawsuit because they allegedly caused and contributed to the intoxication of the defendant.
Liquor Liability Coverage Actual Liquor Claims • Over-Serving/Fall Claim: Man was drinking at the Post bar, after several hours and beers, the man climbed up onto the bar, reached over to ring the bell, and fell. He was injured and died 11 days later as a result of those injuries. The Post has been named in a lawsuit because they have been accused of over-serving the man, which led to the fall, which caused his subsequent death.
Liquor Liability Coverage Actual Liquor Claims • Over Serving/Fatality Claim: A member of the Post, and a regular at the bar, spent most of the afternoon drinking at the Post. After too many drinks, he fell off of his barstool. The bartenders decided not to call 911 because they didn’t want the Post to get into trouble. Instead, they took the member out to his truck to “sleep it off.” After several hours a relative of the individual stopped by the post to find the man still in his truck. He was taken to the hospital, where he died several days later. The post is in the middle of a very messy lawsuit.
