EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION: The Positive Discipline Implementation Project at Mozart's World's Children's School

Our journey begins when, in 2012, we began to develop in our school the "Personal Skills" program, which consists of a series of activities aimed at developing the personal, social and emotional abilities of children. This last work was the first step to be able to implement the dynamics proposed by the Positive Discipline methodology.

  1. Our journey begins when, in 2012, we began to develop in our school the "Personal Skills" program, which consists of a series of activities aimed at developing the personal, social and emotional abilities of children. This last work was the first step to be able to implement the dynamics proposed by the Positive Discipline methodology. Similarly, in 2014, a process Began training teachers in effective communication based on non - violent communication, personal development, professional, emotional management and techniques to optimize the work in team. In the autumn of the same year, the school's director, Denise Zarruk Vargas, was trained in Positive Discipline, thus obtaining the International Certification as an Educator of Positive Discipline for Families (2nd Promotion in Spain). Shortly afterwards we began to give courses of this method to the families of the center as one more way of integrating the Positive Discipline in all the educational aspects of our students and educational system.
