The Story of the Experience of IES Falch in the Educational Innovation Awards

A delegation from the IES Ifach of Calp, Alacant, attended the awards ceremony held at the Ramiro de Maeztu Institute in Madrid, on May 25 , and although our candidacy, Creation and experimentation in the classroom of the EDA Project EDIA "We travel through Spain with Arcgis?" Was not awarded, it has been a very rewarding experience to be finalists in the category of technology use , since it has served to motivate our students to continue working on EDIA projects, in collaboration with the University Miguel Hernández de Elche.

  1. Let us begin by telling our experience in the Educational Innovation Awards for the end. A delegation from the IES Ifach of Calp, Alacant, attended the awards ceremony held at the Ramiro de Maeztu Institute in Madrid, on May 25 , and although our candidacy, Creation and experimentation in the classroom of the EDA Project EDIA "We travel through Spain with Arcgis?" Was not awarded, it has been a very rewarding experience to be finalists in the category of technology use , since it has served to motivate our students to continue working on EDIA projects, in collaboration with the University Miguel Hernández de Elche. The delegation was formed by a representation of the students that have applied the finalist project in the classroom (Lucía Balaguer Pino, Patricia Crespo Escortell, Tatiana Nerea Crimi León, Sara Benayad Youssef and Antonio Moll Nicolay) and their teacher Geles Fernández Santafé, creator of the project EDIA and responsible for its application in two classrooms, 3ºESOB and 3ºESOC, the head of studies of the IES Ifach, Sabina Durá Subiela, and the Councilor for Education of the City Council of Calpe, María Pilar Cabrera Bertomeu.
