  2. Entrance Exams Introduction - With an increasing popularity of science stream among young students, more than 45% of students opt Science Stream in Class 11. To provide students a better career in Science, the exam convener authorities conduct various entrance exams and tests for Graduation Entrance, Post-Graduation Entrance, Higher Education Entrance or Job Selections. Even the pioneer Indian science and technology institutes like IITs, NITs, IISc etc. also offer the admissions based on such exams’ scores.

There are several entrance exams and tests are conducted to provide admissions for aspirants in pioneer Indian science and technology institutes like IITs, NITs, IISc etc. The difficulty level of these exams is very high.   4. IIT JEE Exam IIT JEE, it is considered as the toughest entrance exam for engineering not only in India, but also worldwide. JEE Exam is conducted in two tiers i.e. JEE Main and JEE Advanced. It is a dream of every PCM students to crack IIT JEE. Every year lakhs of students apply for the JEE, but its qualification is in the fate of only a few ones. It requires that candidates have to understand all the concepts and also have commands on methods.

  5. GATE Exam Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, the exam which is conducted for getting admissions to post graduate courses in engineering, is conducted by the IITs and IISc Bangalore. The Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) are eligible to appear for the GATE exam and those who are in the qualifying year of these programs can also apply. The score card of GATE exam is valid for three years from the announcement date of result.

  6. NEET Exam The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This is the entrance test which is conducted for medical students to get admission in MBBS/BDS graduation courses in India’s reputed medical colleges. National Testing Agency conducts the National Eligibility Entrance Test. Its difficulty level is also higher and sometimes it is more than any normal student can take. Students need to be dedicated towards study to get success in NEET exam.

  7. CSIR NET Exam The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the NET exam on the bi-yearly basis. After qualifying this, candidates have two options, either they can become Junior Research Fellows or Assistant Professors in UGC Approved Universities. The CSIR UGC NET Certificate is valid for two years for JRF and for Assistant Professor it is valid for lifetime. Candidates who have passed or enrolled in the Master’s degree in science stream can only apply for the exam.

  9. AIIMS Exam It is a medical entrance exam which is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences separately to provide admission for applicants to their MBBS course.
