  2. A A is for Academic Quiz Bowl with Mrs. Fields spurring us on.

  3. B B is for Best friends we made at Wacona.

  4. C C is for the fun we have at Character Clubhouse playing ping pong, pool, basketball, checkers, twister, bop it, and foosball.

  5. D D is for Dr.Seuss day. People in the community read Dr. Seuss books to us, we wore hats, had coloring contests, and had whiskers.

  6. E E is for working hard to get the best education.

  7. F F is for the fun we have at field day. We enjoy the potato sack race, long and short runs, dish rag relay, wheel barrel race, dish rag relay, tug-of-war, chug-a-lug, marble relay, cup relay, and marble relay.

  8. G G is for the Gators that is a great team to cheer for.

  9. H H is forthe Hornet that is Wacona’s mascot.

  10. I I is for the ice cream we have at lunch. We especially loved the chocolate éclair, chocolate shortcake, cotton candy, and watermelon.

  11. J J is for the jobs we have at Wacona. We have washed tables, checked mail, ran errands for the teachers, and picked up the room.

  12. K K is for the super kids at Wacona.

  13. L L is for doing our best to learn.

  14. M M is for the money we raised for PTA, St. Judes, field trips, and the stocking fund.

  15. N N is for the nice teachers we have had at Wacona.

  16. O O is for our class trip to the Okefenokee Swamp in 3rd grade.

  17. P P is for the fun at P.E throughout the years. We especially loved to play dodge ball.

  18. Q Q is for us always being quiet in the Media Center.

  19. R R is for all the Responsibilities we have. We study, work hard, do homework, help each other, and have many jobs.

  20. S S is for studying.

  21. T T is for all the tests we have.

  22. U U is for how the teachers urge us to do our best work.

  23. V V is for volunteers that come help at school. They mentor, read to us, and copy papers for the teachers.

  24. W W is for what is yet to happen.

  25. X X is for the extraordinary years at Wacona where we learned and made friends and had fun.

  26. Y Y is for yarns that we sometimes tell to our teachers when we don’t do our work.

  27. Z Z is for the zeal that we come to school with.
