  2. SOLUM's powerful ESL technology gets additional colors. With the 4-Color Labels, the colors white, black, red and yellow can now be displayed. Soon, 7-Color displays will become available too. Those shall show content in three more colors: blue, green and magenta. For companies, this means greater creative freedom in the design of labels. For example, product details, ratings or prices can be highlighted. The display of product images on e-ink will also be revolutionized with the new colors.

  3. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEWTON AND NEWTON COLOR? The biggest difference is in the colors that can be displayed. In addition to the colors black, white and red, the 4-color labels can now also display yellow. The 7-color labels, which will be added soon, will even be able to display content in blue, green and magenta. The 4-Color ESLs  are offered in different sizes: 1.64", 2.4", 3.0", 4.4" and 8.2". The NEWTON 7-Color comes in 6.0". Otherwise, the labels are based on the same E-Ink technology and offer the same battery life and IP67 standards as the previous electronic price tags in the NEWTON range.

  4. New opportunities for in-store promotion With new colors come new creative design possibilities. Displays can now highlight prices and ratings, as well as color specific product images. Full color backgrounds are also an option to attract more attention. Especially for new products, sales or promotions, special designs can be created that exploit the potential of the up to 7 playable pages. They can be used to display prices, product details, ratings or special notes directly on the shelf. This offers companies more advertising space and customers comprehensive product advice at the point of sale.
