  2. How Does Facial Recognition Work? An automated framework prepared by a camera recognizes and distinguishes a human face. The camera extracts the facial features of an individual. E.g., the distance between eyes, the length of a nose, the shape of a brow, and cheekbones. The framework identifies the face and matches it to pictures put away in an information base.
