  2. The most important stage of every woman's lives is pregnancy. During this time, she undergoes many changes, both mentally and physically. It is important to be ready to go through these changes. As you care for your baby in the womb for nine months, you must also take care of yourself after delivery. Your body will change rapidly after delivery so postpartum care should not be overlooked. The first six weeks following the birth of a child are typically the most difficult for postpartum.

  3. POSTPARTUM RECOVERY TIPS FOR NEW MOMS Rest well It is usually said to sleep while the baby sleeps, it’s when you put your body to rest. Try to sleep whenever the baby is asleep as it helps you to stay awake in the night without ending feeling tired. Ask for help If you are feeling overwhelmed, reach out to others. Ask family and friends to help you with daily chores so that you have time for sleep. Helping you deal with daily chores can make all the difference. A balanced diet You should not only get rest but also ensure that you eat the right food according to your body's needs. You should ensure that you get all the nutrients and vitamins your body needs to heal and grow.

  4. Exercise Postpartum exercise is not for everyone. If you are interested in exercising, consult a Gynae specialist. Do not do strenuous exercise. Take it slow. During this phase, you will notice physical changes. This phase can lead to significant weight gain. Do not rush to lose all those extra pounds. Consult your doctor about when you should start exercising. Your diet should include all the nutrients. It takes time to lose weight. It requires faith and patience.

  5. Engorgement Breast swelling, also known as breast engorgement, is caused by increased blood flow and milk. It can be uncomfortable. Apply a cold compress or cream to soothe the discomfort. Breastfeeding can help you gain pregnancy weight because they burn lots of calories. Uterine cramps Uterine cramps are common because the enlarged uterus will shrink back to its normal size. You may experience mild or severe cramps depending upon your body's response to the shrinking. For any medication, please contact your Gynaecologist at Coimbatore.

  6. Vaginal spotting This is a common symptom in the first two to three week after birth. This is how your body sheds the uterine tissue and lining. You should use sanitary napkins. Tampons can cause injections. The perineum is slow to heal. If you have any bleeding issues, you should immediately contact Gynaecology Hospital so they can provide you with further treatment.
