Remote Online Notary - How easy is it? One of the first questions we get when talking to new clients is, "How easy is this?" We have made it as easy as can be, and with options that should help anyone quickly get their documents notarized online. If you are tech-savvy, this should take you less then 5 minutes to upload your documents by going to our Request Form. When filling out the form you should opt-in for a text message containing a link to validate your identity. The identity validation process takes about 2 minutes! All you have to do is, click on the link, take a picture of the front of your government issued ID or passport, and then take a selfie. Such fun! And no we will not share your funny selfie with anyone! If you want an EASY PEASY way, you can email your document to us at Natasha@remotenotarez.com or Beka@remotenotarez.com. Please include a picture of the front and back of your government issued ID or a picture of your passport. We do ask if you have documents that have confidential information to please use the Request Form. You can give us a call, and we will walk you through using the form. Our forms are encrypted so your information is protected. What's next!
Once we get your documents and your appointment time, a notary will email you with a link to a video conference. We use Zoom, WebEx, or Remote Notarez Platform. At your appointment time, we will ask you to hold your ID up to the camera and state your name and date of birth. The notary will share her computer screen with our document. She/he will go over the document to make sure you understand what you are signing. You will e-sign the document. All of this takes about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how many documents you have. All said and done! Yes, that is it. From start to finish it could take about 20 minutes to go through the process. After you have e-signed the document, the notary will send you an invoice for you to pay or you can pay before you leave the appointment. She/he will remote online notarize the document. It will be emailed back to you or if it has confidential information we will send you a file # and password so you can retrieve & download your document from Remote Notarez.
