The Balance and Definition series are our newest premium range of professional loudspeakers brought to you by Stonewater Audio Labs. The entire series has been engineered and developed in partnership with the UK Research and Development team of globally renowned, high-end loudspeaker transducer manufacturer Precision Devices International Ltd (UK). The Balance & Definition Series
Superlative transducer quality has been married with robust build quality ensured by void-free, multi-laminate, birch ply construction with sealed internal bracing. Critical transducer components are manufactured in the UK while woodwork and other low-tech parts are manufactured in India or China. This translates into an unprecedented combination of performance and affordability.
300 Watts, 12" Two Way Loudspeaker The Balance 12 has been engineered to excel in all areas of professional requirements, be it tonal refinement, dynamics or efficiency. Crisp and clean highs seamlessly integrate with a highly detailed mid range and low frequency response to provide a balanced tonal signature with immense character. Extensive development work on their phase aligned passive crossovers has ensured that the speakers do not rely heavily on DSP correction. They simply sound great even in direct plug and play situations! The Definition series of subwoofers offer high definition, deep and controlled bass with superior SPL. An advanced motor design results in extremely fast responding subwoofers. This allows you to hear each note distinctively even when the music involves successive bass notes played in rapid succession. All our subwoofers incorporate high excursion drivers, low vibration walls and optimized vents, resulting in a dramatic reduction in port noise, superior dynamics, enhanced power handling and an exceptional level of performance. The drivers utilize Polycellulose cone membranes, that are much stronger and more durable than conventional paper pulp alternatives. This allows the drivers to combine high-sensitivity with the structural integrity required to produce undistorted low frequencies at extreme sound pressure levels. Sophisticated thermal management effectively removes heat from the voice coil, resulting in extremely low power compression to ensure consistent SPL even after hours of continuous use Definition 118 Applications Live Music, Concert sound Bars and Clubs SPECIFICATION Nominal Driver Size 18 Inches Long Term Power Handling (100 Hours Test) 600W RMS Power Handling (AES) 1000 W Continuous / 2000 w Program / 4000 w Peak Nominal Impedance 8 Ω Average Sensitivity 100 dB @ 1w/1m Calc.
