  2. Visit: emotional intelligence skills INTRODUCTION • Reading facial emotions requires paying close attention to what is called "micro-expressions." • Microexpressions are fleeting, unconscious expressions of emotion on the face. • They can't be faked and last anywhere from 0.5 to 4.0 seconds.

Build a rational mind of looking at things. To control microexpressions, we must first learn about the seven micro expressions in detail - both the science and the psychology of it. Develop a good personality. It is in our biological make-up to pick up on others' microexpressions. That's the case whether or not we approve. We must be self-aware about microexpressions. Meditation is a good way to start on a self-awareness path.
