  2. INTRODUCTION Formal education is defined as systematic, curriculum-based, teacher-directed learning that takes place inside a school, college, or university setting. Students receive a formal education in a regular classroom setting. Anything learned outside of the traditional classroom is classified as informal education. It could be self-taught through research or reading, or it could be learned through personal experience. Informal education is defined as learning that occurs as a result of everyday activities such as job, family, or leisure. Self-study- learning by yourself by reading books via the internet and media. Without any direction or supervision, you can learn at your own pace.
