  3. Description My name is Kevin E. Lake. I have long been interested in all things unexplainable. First, it started out as entertainment, but when I would end up having more than one unexplainable experience of my own (and trust me, it has been WAY more than one), it would become a passion.I have written fiction, non-fiction, and fact disguised as fiction in this genre for many years, and I have been fortunate enough to capture many unexplained phenomena on video, which is highlighted on my YouTube channel, “Homesteading Off The Grid.”It is on this YouTube channel where I have garnered many followers, who, like myself, have had many unexplained events occur in their lives. For years, these wonderful folks have been sharing their experiences in the comment section of my YouTube channel. Finally, and with the strong urging of my volunteer partner in paranormal mayhem, Eerie, I decided to create an email account associated with my channel so that people who might not want their identities known could email their stories to us for us to share on the YouTube channel. To my surprise, this opened a floodgate, and emails have been pouring in from some from folks who do wish to remain anonymous, and others, from folks who, as they put it, ‘don’t give a damn what other people think’ about them, and have openly shared their identities.So many stories have come in, and so quickly, Eerie and I, along with many of our YouTube viewers, felt that these stories should be preserved, and what better way to preserve them than in book form? This way, we can allow a place- be it this book (and upcoming volumes) or the YouTube channel- for people to go to read about or listen to these experiences so that they will not feel so alone. We understand that when you are an educated professional, and known in your community, that it simply isn’t safe to go popping off about having seen a ghost, or a Bigfoot Sasquatch, or an alien in your backyard. This lack of outlet leads to a feeling of loneliness, and the experience itself makes one question their sanity. These are the people, primarily, for whom we are compiling these collections. Also, there is a great mass of folks out there, believers and non-believers alike, who simply want to be entertained by such stories.Eerie and I have worked together to edit the following stories that were submitted to us via the email connected to my YouTube channel. We did our best not to change any of the meat and potatoes of any of the stories. We focused primarily on grammar, spelling, etc. We changed a bit of wording here and there to allow for smoother story flow, but for the most part, the stories are raw; presented as originally written by those who submitted them.
