  2. Introduction of Fly Ash Bricks Fly ash blocks are a building material, specifically masonry units, containing class C or class F fly ash and water. Compressed at 28 MPa and cured for 24 hours in a 66 °C steam bath, then toughened with an air entrainment agent, the bricks last for more than 100 freeze-thaw cycles. In other word it is a masonry unit that is used in the construction of buildings. They are considered to be a part of good and affordable building materials. Remember higher the amount of Ash in brick lighter it is and lower is the thermal conductivity.
