  1. HOW TO CHANGE INK IN CANON MX452 PRINTER? When the ink level in the ink cartridge is low, replace the cartridge with a new one. 1. Buy a genuine Canon ink cartridge from the store, then proceed with the process. 2. Keep the printer turned on and open the front cover followed by the paper output tray. 3. Next, open the paper output cover and wait until the cartridge holder moves to its original position. 4. The headcover opens automatically. Now, push the lock lever down and take out the old ink cartridge. 5. Unpack the new ink cartridge and remove the protective tape from it. 6. Insert the cartridge into its holder and also see that the cartridge touches the end. 7. Raise the lock lever and check if the ink cartridge is in place. 8. Close the paper output cover, paper output tray, and front cover.
