The Written Paper consists of Objective Multiple Choice questions and Part I, III and IV is set both in English and Hindi. There is negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. The paper is of 200 marks and the time duration is 2 hours. The Paper II is completely descriptive where the candidates have to write 5 short essays or letters in English and one language which is included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
