Longest Dams In India India has built many dams and water reservoirs after independence and stood as the world’s most bountiful dambuilders. More than 4300 dams were constructed in different parts in India and some are in progress. Nearly two thousand dams among those built are more than 20 years old attracting many tourists not only in India but also across the world.
