  1. TODDLER FOOT MEASURING GAUGE HOW TO USE GUIDE 01 Make sure your child is wearing socks. Sit them on a chair, or if possible someone else’s lap, facing you with their legs dangling freely. Kneel in front of your child. Hold the gauge in your left hand and rest your child’s foot in the gauge with their heel touching the back of the heel rest – gently hold their foot in place with your left thumb, ensuring their foot is straight and flat on the gauge. 80 70 60 50 40 30 30 70 80 150 150 160 02 Keep the gauge parallel to the floor, ensuring their knee and ankle stay at a right angle whilst measuring. 1 90 80 70 60 0 03 Gently hold down their toes to prevent from curling and move the toe slide until it just touches the tip of their longest toe. Make a note of the length measurement indicated by the black lines in the circular window.   2. 30 30 04 The width tape will automatically be lined up at the correct part of the foot to measure the width. Pull the tape gently until it is resting lightly on the foot. Hold the tape end out parallel to the floor and make a note of the measurement, in millimetres, at the point indicated by the three arrows.
