Photo-sharing application, Instagram is taking measures to set boundaries for inauthentic activity on its platform. Instagram announced it will be removing Likes, Fake Followers, and Comments from the accounts that generated by Third-Party apps to increase their fame.

Well, this is the time to face the reality. The photo and video sharing app, Instagram have cleared in his statement that its start purging the fake followers, comments and likes. On Monday (Nov. 19), Instagram said that they are going to launch a new program on user’s profile, who manipulate the follower counts and warn those accounts that use unauthorized third-party apps to purchase fake followers as well as comments and likes that violate the Instagram policies. “Recently, we’ve seen accounts use third-party apps to artificially grow their audience. Every day people come to Instagram to have real experiences, including genuine interactions. It is our responsibility to ensure these experiences aren’t disrupted by inauthentic activity. Starting today, we will begin removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity”, Instagram said in his statement. This type of behavior is bad for the community, and third- party apps that generate inauthentic likes, follows and comments violate our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. This could be a bad news for many Instagram users who “influence” followers by using the multiple third-party apps. Although, there are lots of companies who openly advertise services that promise to
quickly boost your Instagram followers, likes and comments. Some of, includes, Skweezer, Incentafan, Mr.Insta, Boost gram and Turbo Like. According to Instagram, the company takes an action and built machine learning tools that help to identify those accounts that already use these kinds of services and remove the inauthentic activity. The ML tools help Instagram to identify accounts using these services will receive an in-app message alerting them that we have removed the inauthentic likes, follows and comments given by their account to others. Instagram explained this statement with an example of a couple of images: To prohibited third-party apps is the major reason of security. While activating these types of apps need to access your username and password which converts your account less secure and increase the chances to leak your personal data. And, this is the point to consider after blamed on its parent company Facebook, retain its image to share the user’s data with others. Instagram also appeal users to change their passwords after receiving the message alert to secure your accounts. In the last, Instagram said, “We’ll have more updates in the coming weeks on additional measures we’re taking inauthentic activity on Instagram.
