  1. What Magnaflux Kit Consists Of? Magnaflux kit has 3 products– Cleaner/remover SKC-S, Penetrant SKL-SP2, Developer SKD-S2 Magnaflux SKC-S - Magnaflux spotcheck SKC-S is a highly concentrated, water-based solution used for the detection of surface and subsurface discontinuities in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is also used for the detection of porosity in welds. SKC-S is used in a wide variety of applications including quality control, incoming inspection, research and development, and failure analysis. It can be used on all metals, including castings, forgings, and weldments. SKC-S is also used to detect cracks in ceramics and composites. SKC-S is a clear, colorless solution that is applied to the surface of the metal using a brush, sprayer, or immersion tank. A white powder, called fluorescein, is then added to the SKC-S. The fluorescein reacts with the light from a UV lamp to produce a bright green glow. Any discontinuities in the metal will fluoresce brightly, making them easy to see. SKC-S is safe to use and non-toxic. It is not corrosive and will not damage the metal being tested. SKC-S is also biodegradable and can be disposed of safely after use.
