  1. Cosmetics Ingredients Welcome to Tezzalli’s in-depth series on cosmetics ingredients, where we'll unravel the mysteries behind the potions and lotions that enhance our beauty. From the revitalizing powers of hyaluronic acid to the timeless magic of retinol, join us on a journey through the science and artistry of skincare and makeup components. 12. Sunscreen (SPF)

  2. Sunscreen (SPF) Sunscreen (SPF) is used in cosmetics to protect the skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. UV rays can cause premature aging, wrinkles, and skin cancer. Sunscreen works by absorbing or reflecting UV rays, preventing them from reaching the skin. There are two main types of sunscreen: mineral and chemical. Mineral sunscreens, also known as physical sunscreens, sit on the surface of the skin and reflect UV rays. Chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays and convert them into heat, which is then released from the skin. Sunscreen is typically added to cosmetics in the form of a lotion, cream, or gel. It can also be found in powders, makeup, and lip balms. The amount of sunscreen in a cosmetic product is typically indicated by its SPF rating. An SPF of 15 blocks about 93% of UVB rays, while an SPF of 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays.

  3. In addition to our globally sourced beauty products for people of color on Tezzalli.mx, we are thrilled to announce the creation of our exclusive Tezzalli Perla cosmetics line, debuting in November of 2023 with three exceptional products on offer: a Serum, Facial Cream, and SPF 50 Sunscreen.
