Stages of Express Entry ProcessCanada: • Express Entry has ushered the Canadian Immigration system into a new era. Express Entry is an electronic platform that allows aspiring applicants to create online profiles which can be retained for a period of 12 months, after which the applicants may resubmit theirprofiles; • The profiles are considered for eligibility by the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System. The CRS assesses the applicants on the basis of certain predetermined criteria, like Age, linguistic skills, and academicaccomplishments; • Professional exposure and other deemed vital profile traits that can evidence the abilityof • new entrants in settling in the Canadian environment. After gauging the profiles, the CRS ranks them on the basis of the marksobtained; • Additional marks can be obtained by the candidates under the followingconditions: • sponsorships earned from a willing Canadian state if any; or a full-time regular employment offer from a Canadianemployer; • The CIC conducts shortlisting draws at regular intervals to pick the applicants whohave • scored highestmarks; • The shortlisted candidates are given an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and instructed to go ahead with filing the second set of applications for permanent residence.
