  1. Liver Transplant in Children: A brief insight There are many different childhood liver conditions and problems. These issues have to be timely diagnosed and treated to ensure the well-being of the kids, no matter whether they need Non alcoholic fatty liver treatment or something else. In certain extreme cases, kids with liver disease may even require a liver transplant. A liver transplant is usually done when the liver of the child does not work well, and he or she will not survive without a new one. Doctors only recommend a liver transplant after they have tried all other treatments to save the liver of a child. Liver Transplant in Children is meant to replace a diseased liver with a healthy liver from another person. The new liver may come from an organ donor who has just died. The donor can also be a living person, such as a family member or someone who is not related to the child but has a matching blood type. People who donate a part of the liver can have healthy livers with the liver that is left, as it is the only organ in the body that can replace (regenerate) lost or damaged tissue. In certain ways, the process of pediatric liver transplant is similar to that for adults. However, as children with the liver disease face unique challenges, they will benefit from the extensive experience of healthcare facilities specializing in Liver transplant surgery in India. These hospitals usually have liver transplant surgeons with extensive experience in both pediatric and adult liver transplantation.
