INTRODUCTION SaskatchewanisoneofthepopularprovincesinCanadawhichactively participatesintheProvincialNomineeProgramtoselecttherightpersonnelinto theprovince,eitherasskilledprofessionalsorBusinessImmigrants.The aspirantbusinessmenwhointendtorelocatetoSaskatchewanshouldactively participateintherunningofthebusinessandshouldresideinSaskatchewan. To qualify for this program the applicant should – SubmitanExpressofInteresttotheSaskatchewanImmigrationNominee Program.Theexpressionofinterestshouldbesupportedbytherequired documents.Basedonthesedocuments,theapplicant’sprofilewillbe gradedtomeettheminimumentrycriteria.Oncetheprofileisshortlisted,it willbecomepartofthepoolofcandidatesshortlistedforfurtherprocessing 1.

Monetary criteria - MinimumNet-worthofthemainapplicantshouldbeCAD $500,000 RequiredinvestmentinReginaorSaskatoonisCAD $300,000 RequiredinvestmentinotherareasinSaskatchewanisCAD $200,000 3.Theapplicantshouldhaveaminimumof3yearsofbusinessexperience. 4.Theintendedbusinessshouldgenerateaminimumof1jobopportunityfor thelocals 5.TheinvestorshouldprovideaproperBusinessEstablishmentPlan. 6.Theinvestorshouldownaminimumof33.33% ofbusiness 7.Theinvestorshouldprovidereasoningthattheywouldparticipateinthe everydayrunningofthebusiness. 8.Theapplicantshouldprovidetherequireddocumentsthatwouldsupportall oftheirclaimsalongwiththebusinessplan. 9.TheyneedtotakeupthelanguagetesttoqualifysimilartoSkilledMigration program.

Oncetheapplicationisassessedandathirdpartyverificationreportisreceived,Oncetheapplicationisassessedandathirdpartyverificationreportisreceived, theSINPimmigrationauthoritieswillconductathoroughbackgroundsearch andprovidetheirverdictontheapplication. Oncetheapplicantisconsideredqualified,theywillreceiveaninvitationto participateinthefinalinterview. Aftertheclearanceofinterview,aBusinessPerformanceAgreement (BPA) will besenttotheapplicantforreviewandsignature. OncetheSaskatchewangovernmentreceivesthesignedanddatedBPA,the applicantwillreceiveSINPEntrepreneurApprovalletter.Theapplicantwillthen proceedtoapplyforTemporaryWorkpermitwiththeIRCC.Withthetemporary workpermit,theapplicantshouldbeabletorelocatetotheprovinceandstart settinguptheirbusinessthere.ThisTWPisissuedforaperiodof18months.

ExpressionofInterestisnotanapplication.ItisonlyadocumentexpressingtheExpressionofInterestisnotanapplication.Itisonlyadocumentexpressingthe applicant’sentrepreneurialexperiencealongwithshowcasingtheirdesireto submitapplicationasrequired.BusinessInvestmentprogramisanimportant proposition.Itshouldcontributetotheeconomyofacountryalongwith providingjobopportunitiestothelocalsthere.However,theinvestorshould investinabusinessprospectwhichbringsintherightreturnstotheinvestor. Thebusinessalsoshouldbescalableandviableinnature. Themostimportantfactorthatensuresone’smigrationasuccessisthekindof partneronedecidestoworkwithtohelpthemrelocatetotheprovince.It requiresthattheinvestorchoosestoworkwithinternationalinvestment immigrationexpertstohelpthemchoosetherightinvestmentpathwayand connectthemtotherightbusinesshousesaspartofnetworkingintheprovince.
