This means that you, the investor will be submitting your business idea to these endorsing bodies and they if satisfied will be qualifying your idea for further processing. To qualify, your business idea must be a fresh new one and it should show promise for growth. It takes 3 months for the whole process to be complete. However, the decision on your visa will be communicated to you within 3 weeks of receiving the application.

5. This VISA is valid for 3 years’ time and it can be further extended/ renewed as many times as possible. However, you become eligible to apply for settlement VISA otherwise known as the “indefinite leave to remain” status post three years of living in the UK. With this VISA, you can set up your business or multiple businesses. You can work for your business in whatever capacity possible and can also bring your family on this VISA to UK. However, you cannot work for anybody else outside your business and shall not try to get public funds. 6. UK START-UP VISA PROGRAM All those individuals who would want to set-up their business in the UK can utilize UK Start-up VISA program. You cannot be part of UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland. This program too needs that you get a letter of endorsement from the authorized body which is either a UK higher education institution or a business organization with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs. For that you will have to submit your business idea to one of these said organizations. This VISA takes 3 months to be processed and the decision on the visa is communicated with in 3 weeks of applying for the VISA. This is a 2 year VISA program and it cannot be renewed. The only way to go ahead is to switch to other VISA programs after the 2 years. With this VISA you can bring your family members to the UK. You can work for some other business as an employee while setting up your start- up.

8. UK SOLE REPRESENTATIVE BUSINESS PROGRAM The whole purpose of you coming to UK will be to set-up a subsidiary of your business in UK. It will be a long term assignment. Other representatives of media and broadcasting can utilize this program. This again takes 3 months to be processed and the decision will be communicated within 3 weeks of submitting the application. The fees for this is UK £610. You need to be working for the business for a few years just prior the submission of the application. You can live in the UK with this visa for a period of 3 years and can be further extended by 2 more years. With this VISA, you can work for your company. You can bring your family to UK under this program. However, you cannot seek employment outside the company you are currently representing. You cannot stay beyond the period defined by your employer. You will not try to obtain public funds nor will you be able to switch from this visa to any other visa.
