  1. The Prospects of Jobs in Dubai for Pakistani Nationals According to a recent survey, leading UAE employers are up to rolling out a plan that seeks a net headcount expansion during the year 2019. This in line with an augmented share of new jobs filed by Pakistani professionals and lower salary expectations of the aspiring Pakistani candidates. The hiring preference to land jobs in Dubai for Pakistani expats offers many UAE-based HR firms a good balance between the requisite skill set and negotiating salary expectations that meet their budget. Between expatriate professionals who work in Dubai and hold identical job titles, remunerations paid to Pakistanis are typically 20 percent lower than that enjoyed by Arab nationals and on average 40 percent lower when compared to their western counterparts. The wide gaps in salary expectations among the expatriates have some bearing on the prevailing salaries in the candidates’ home country. Jobs in Dubai for Pakistani professionals command a lion’s share of the city’s hiring activity. The job market has been a spectator to the biggest surge in interest among the employers over the past one year in so far as Pakistani nationals are concerned. It also observed a 12 percent rise in the share of job approaches to Pakistani expats while hiring by UAE employers is underway. As part of their endeavor to cut costs, employers in Dubai have already started outreaching less experienced Pakistani candidates. It’s been reported that candidates with less than 35 years have come across a 6 percent increase in approaches from potential employers in the midst of the previous 12 months whereas those with age more than 35 years have seen a falloff by 5 percent during the same period. Today you’ll find a significant number of jobs in Dubai for Pakistani emigrants in the following industry sectors. •Accounting/finance •Banking •Advertising/Publishing •Construction/Facilities •Beautician/Fashion •Customer service/Call center •Human resources •Healthcare •Engineering/Architecture

  2. •Sales •Pharmaceutical/Biotech •Oil/ petroleum •Telecommunication •Web development/Graphic designers •Marketing/Internet •Education/ Training/ Teaching •Shipping and Maritimes •Restaurants/Foodservice So, as a Pakistani expat and geared up to dive into Dubai’s burgeoning job market you can adhere to the following three one-off tips. Crafting your online persona If any recruiter finds you on Google and stumbles on your old MySpace pictures, it’s unlikely that you’ll grab hold of a job. Not only do you need to professionally tailor or make your social media networks private, but also you need to put emphasis on boosting your credentials. You may create an online resume, fill out profiles of job seekers on LinkedIn and Bayt, and publish and share informative documents pertaining to the industry where you belong to. Steering clear of applying for jobs you aren’t qualified for Simply because you're excited to work for a company doesn’t imply that you should start applying for jobs that don’t suit your skills. Not only such inane applications result in futile efforts, but also delve a negative impact in the minds of hiring managers about your lack of credentials and direction as a job prospect. Being patient If truth be told, because of fierce competition in the market scenario jobs in Dubai for Pakistani citizens may take time to come to fruition. In addition to talent saturation, recruitment in Dubai leans towards being seasonal. This means most of the hiring takes place between January and March and nearly comes to a standstill during the holy month of Ramadan and amidst the scorching summer months. Therefore, it’s commonplace that your job search may take almost a year’s time to fructify. So hang in there!
