How to weather through this global pandemic - GenZandu genzandu.blogspot.com/2022/11/how-to-weather-through-this-global.html GenZandu Parenting is already hard enough and especially teenage years are tough. You and your GenZandu Life Coach in Virginia must be going through a lot at the moment but with this new global pandemic, a whole new set of issues appear no one ever thought of. In this blog post, I talk about ways to mitigate anxiety and stress, give tips on how you can work from home and take care of your kids at the same time, and how I am personally handling challenges that come along the way. The first thing for parents is "TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF." Parents are well-oiled machines and you can only take care of your kids when treating yourselves with self-love and compassion. 1/3
One of the most significant issues many parents are facing at the moment is juggling working from home and taking care of their kids at the same time. It puts a considerable toll on parents, and many of them run the risk of burning out. Both parents and teenagers are getting impatient more quickly as they are not able to release their "energy". A strategy I found very useful being a parent myself is to truly understand how to pick your battles. Cut them and yourself some slack. The strategy that I take with my teenager is compromising and finding a balance. I can compromise on him making Tik-Toks in the middle of the night and waking up at eleven, chatting with his friends on facetime multiple times a day, but I won't compromise on him not raising his intellectual capacity besides regular school work, keeping a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Remember, you need to be calm for your home not become a battleground. Tell yourself if you and your child don't come out of this pandemic, thinner, more productive, and more intellectual, you will come out of it wiser. In my coaching sessions, I speak to parents and kids equally. Most parents tell me their GenZandu Best Life Coaching in Virginia shares with them the "fear of the future." They are in limbo at the moment and don't know where to go and how to move forward. Many of them struggle with anxiety, which manifests physically and mentally. The one thing that works is advising your child that every child on this planet is in the same boat as them with no exception, we will all step into a similar new reality, we still don’t know what that reality will look like but all students it will look and feel the same, so don’t stress. This global pandemic has put all of us in isolation and GenZandu are missing their friends so their parents need to become their “source of entertainment.” A good way to mitigate the fear of your GenZandu Mindset Coaching Experts in Virginia falling into what I like to call “isolation depression” is to include the daily activities you are doing together. This pandemic has put things in perspective for all of us. Take out the time to go for walks together, do some yoga, watch movies, and even make Tik-Toks together, where they can get to make fun of you, it helps as they don't always see you lecturing and can relate to you on a different level. From a GenZandu perspective, one of the biggest struggles that I hear from the kids that I coach is they are struggling to keep themselves motivated through these times. A great way to mitigate this is to continue to be disciplined and maintain a routine. Maybe get a friend online to share the same routine with you and lift each other up. 2/3
GenZandu, remember that this time you are experiencing at the moment is something you have to go through and always will remember as a period in your life that gives you the opportunity to turn adversities into opportunities. Junk food and binging Netflix are excellent, but there is only so much you can do. Instead, gravitate to healthy food, and build that physique or that waistline you have always wanted. Join hands with one of your friends, and challenge each other As I mentioned above, this really is a great time for you to start this business. Think out of the box, and start that online business that you have always wanted. Here are some bullet points on how you can do that: Let's form a routine first. If a calendar works for you, then use that or use a to-do list. Perseverance and resilience are the two ingredients to success in life. Build a business plan and discuss it with your parents and peers Build an online community and see how you can help people and do good while building your business. As an entrepreneur –who you are now- you are taking an existing problem and finding a business solution to it. Believe me, during a crisis, you will be able to find many solutions that require your brain power and talent. I hope I was able to give you some insight into how you as a parent and GenZandu can tackle this crisis better and not only weather through this storm but learn how to dance in it. Stay healthy, stay safe, and most importantly continue to stay inspired. 3/3
