Quang Nam invites other countries from 10-12 world heritage cities from Australia, japan, Republic of Korea to participate on the 6th Quang Nam heritage festival which is being celebrated grandly in a great grand manner with huge crowds of people all over the world. An international workshop is withheld on preserving and promoting heritage values. This grand great workshop will take place in Hoi and City to provide the opportunity for these world heritage cities to share their experiences and seek solutions to effective heritage management and preservation. This festival also includes several attractive activities such as displaying photos, artefacts and films about UNESCO world heritage sites introducing several intangible cultural values of several ancient towns.

The number of activities scheduled in this Quang Nam festival includes:  Hoi An Light Festival  International Kite festival  International Choir festival  International food festival  Several opening ceremonies.  The closing ceremony  Others including;  Organizing exhibitions of Fine art, photography and performing arts.  Exchanging with the abroad provinces and cities.  Summing up the contest.  Opening the tourism products  Farm trips and Press trips.

In addition it also includes many cultural sports and tourism activities that take place in the localities of the Quang Nam province, where international chorus competition, Bai Choi Folk festival, several exhibition on the Vietnams sea and island , silk and brocade festival , international kite and food festivals are withheld. On this occasion, Quang Nam Province organizes 415 years of a political economic centre established in the year of 1602 in the Nguyen dynasty which is now commonly known as Quang Nam province. Tam Thanh culture, sports and tourism festival ; competitions of sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, golf tourism, forum, craft fair, organizing filmstrips and launching several new tourism products.

  5. 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival will be held on 9-14th June 2017. It will feature special cultural and arts programme, sports and tourist events and activities. It has a firm feature in the Quang Nam province cultural and tourism events, calendar, honours and certain Vietnamese cultural values and traditions as well as those specific to the province closer by. The main theme of this festival is “Connecting Cultural Heritage” and the Quang Nam department of culture, sports and tourism hopes to attract both the local and international tourist as well. There are series of festival activities and events will be held throughout this province over a week for this period of time. All these wonderful events will end upon 8 pm on 14th June at Haoi River Square in Hoi in.
