  1. 7 Chakras A beginner’s guide to your energy system Chakras are the energy centres within our body that play a crucial role in our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This beginner's guide to your energy system will introduce you to the 7 chakras and their significance in holistic healing. The word “chakra” comes from Sanskrit and translates to “wheel” or “vortex.” The 7 chakras are aligned along the spinal column and are responsible for regulating the flow of energy throughout the body. The chakras absorb and distribute life force energy, known as prana, to different parts of the body, helping to maintain our overall health and balance. The 7 chakras are: 1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – located at the base of the spine, this chakra is associated with the colour red and is linked to our sense of security and stability. 1. Sacral Chakra (Svadhishthana) – located just below the navel, this chakra is associated with the colour orange and governs our emotions, sexuality, and creativity.

  2. 1. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – located in the upper abdomen, this chakra is associated with the colour yellow and governs our sense of personal power, self-esteem, and self- confidence. 1. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – located in the centre of the chest, this chakra is associated with the colour green and governs our ability to love and connect with others. 1. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – located in the throat, this chakra is associated with the colour blue and governs our ability to communicate and express ourselves. 1. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – located between the eyebrows, this chakra is associated with the colour indigo and governs our intuition and perception. 1. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – located at the top of the head, this chakra is associated with the colour violet and governs our connection to the divine and spiritual awareness. When our chakras are balanced, we experience physical, mental, and emotional well-being. However, when one or more chakras are blocked, this can lead to physical or emotional discomfort and a feeling of imbalance. Holistic healing centres, such as those offering holistic healing therapies, can help to restore balance and harmony to the chakras.

  3. Holistic therapies such as yoga, meditation, and Reiki are effective in balancing the chakras. These therapies work by releasing blockages and promoting the flow of energy through the chakras. Aromatherapy, using essential oils, can also help to balance the chakras, with each oil corresponding to a specific chakra. Where to get holistic healing Siddha practitioners at Chakrasiddh are experts of the Chakras of the human body and know how to use them for pranic healing. The Siddha method combines Nadi Vaidyam and Marma Chikitsa to provide healing without heavy medication or surgery. It utilises the body's own energy pathways to provide a therapeutic healing process. Chakrasiddh’s holistic healing centre is in Hyderabad. The Siddha method is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India. It is based on the belief that the human body has 72,000 energy pathways, called nadis, which can be accessed through the surface of the skin. By accessing and manipulating these energy pathways, Siddha practitioners aim to restore balance and harmony to the body, leading to improved health and the resolution of various health issues and diseases. In conclusion, The 7 chakras play a critical role in our physical, mental, and spiritual health. Understanding and balancing the chakras through holistic healing therapies can lead to greater well-being and a greater sense of balance in our lives.
