1. IAT 2023, NEST 2023 – Eligibility Criteria for IISER, NISER, CEBS IAT 2023: Disclaimer – Before COVID, only the top 1% of candidates from their respective State boards were allowed to appear for IAT 2023 but that changed during COVID and based on the same, I will be stating the present eligibility criteria for 2023. Eligibility Criteria for IAT 2023 – 1.Candidates who will be appearing for 12th boards in 2023 OR the candidates who have cleared their 12th boards in 2022 will be allowed. 2.Candidates should belong to the science stream and should have at least 3 or all subjects out of PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) 3.Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category should have a minimum of 60% in class 12th and candidates belonging to the other categories like SC/ST/PWD should have a minimum of 55% in 12th. Candidates who have cleared class 12th in 2021/2022 or the candidates who will be appearing for 12th boards in 2023 will be eligible for NEST 2023. 1.Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category should have a date of birth on OR after 1st August 2003 while the candidates belonging to other categories like SC/ST/PWD should have a date of birth on OR after 1st August 1998 (5 years lesser than General/OBC) 2.Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category should have a minimum of 60% in class 12th and candidates belonging to the other categories like SC/ST/PWD should have a minimum of 55% in 12th. 3.Candidates should have their names present in the merit list (prepared on different grounds for different colleges) For other information related to admissions or eligibility criteria, please visit the official NEST Exam website.
