  1. NEST Seat Allotment 2024: NISER Bhubaneswar & Mumbai Cut-Off NEST is an annual entrance exam for students aiming to pursue a career in basic sciences. It is jointly conducted by NISER and UMDAE CEBS. The exam assesses candidates in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. The results are used to create a merit list, which is then used for the seat allotment process. Seat Allotment Process: The seat allotment for NEST 2024 follows a structured process. After the declaration of results, candidates must register for the counselling process, which involves several steps: 1.Expression of Interest (EOI): Candidates must fill out an EOI form indicating their willingness to participate in the counselling process. This form should be sent to you via email. Don’t forget to check the spam folder if you do not receive it in the main folder. 2.Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates are required to register online for the counselling sessions at either NISER or CEBS. The details will be updated on the website. 3.Document Verification: Candidates need to present original and photocopies of necessary documents such as the NEST scorecard, admit card, academic certificates, and category certificates (if applicable). 4.Seat Allotment: Based on the NEST merit list and the candidate’s preferences, seats are allotted. This is done in multiple rounds.
