What Are The Different Types Of Faux Locs?

There are many different types of faux locs. The most popular are hair extensions that are braided in and given a crochet-like braid look. Other types include rootless locs, tracks and braids, two-strand twists, butterfly locs hair, and more. Click here to check out some different types of faux locs.

  2. Butterfly Faux Locs Butterfly locs have a dishevelled appearance. As a result, deep wave hair packets will be required for wrapping. Braiding your hair is part of the procedure. Then, at the roots of each braid, crochet the unravel hair and wrap the hair to create the look. Butterfly locs hair requires low-maintenance due to their dishevelled appearance. You must, however, wrap your hair at night and hydrate your natural hair below.

  3. Regular Faux Locs The regular faux locs seem much more natural, and while they are time-consuming, they are well worth it in the end. To obtain a dreadlocks look, start by box braiding your hair and wrapping it in kanekalon or marley.

  4. Crochet Faux Locs Crochet faux locs are simple to make and require half the time as conventional faux locs, but they aren't as realistic. The hair is pre-wrapped with crochet imitation locs, and they can be installed in two ways: cornrows or crochet (box braided and crochet then twist in your natural hair into the locs).

  5. Bohemian Faux Locs Boho Faux locs are unruly and lack the unified appearance of regular locs; yet, distressed locs can be classified as bohemian. Insert the deep twist along the length of your faux locs to make them look boho.
