Guide to Becoming a Walmart Seller Before you begin Here are the minimum qualifications to join Walmart Marketplace: ● ● ● ● ● ● Business Tax ID(s) (SSN not accepted) or Business License Number Supporting documents that verify your Business Name and Address History of marketplace or eCommerce success Products that have GTIN/UPC GS1 Company Prefix Numbers Catalog that complies with Walmart Prohibited Products Policy Fulfillment through Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) or another B2C US warehouse with returns capability Referral Fee Walmart Beauty 8% for items with a total sales price of $10 or less 15% for items with a total sales price greater than $10 Ready to get started? It takes only one minute to create your Walmart Marketplace account. From there, you’ll just need to complete the 3-step setup to begin onboarding. 1. Business Verification: Submit your business details to complete your Seller Profile. ● Business verification is a crucial step that helps us confirm your company’s credentials. For verification, provide your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), tax classification, business address, customer service email, and customer service phone number. Enter your business details exactly as they appear in your IRS records or government issued documents to avoid delays in processing. ● Business Verification can vary from a few minutes to two business days.

  2. 2. Payments: Tell us where to send your payments. No setup, subscription, or monthly fees. ● After your business has been verified, choose how you want to get paid by signing up with a third-party payment processor. Payment processor options vary based on your country of incorporation. As a new seller, you'll experience a New Seller Payment Hold after you begin selling on Walmart Marketplace to allow time to build sales history and credibility. The timeframe of this hold varies by the your country of incorporation. 3. Shipping: Configure your shipping methods and costs. Select your preferred returns method and carriers for your budget. ● In Seller Center, you have complete control over how your customers receive their items and how you process returns. You'll configure your shipping settings using Walmart Shipping Templates in Seller Center, via Walmart Marketplace APIs or your preferred Solution Provider. After you’ve done that, accept the terms and conditions for Walmart Returns Shipping Service (RSS) and fill in the address for your Return Center.

  3. Your items can be published on Walmart.com only after the three-step account setup process in Seller Center is complete. What’s next? Set up your items. As a Marketplace seller, you have three options for integrating your catalog with Walmart.com. ● ● ● Solution providers API connection Seller Center via Setup by Match, Single Item, or Bulk Upload Setup Choose the appropriate method for your business and follow best Next Enter Product Information: ● Fill in the required product details: ○ Product Name ○ Brand ○ Manufacturer ○ UPC/EAN ○ SKU ○ Price ○ Quantity ○ Product Description ○ Images ○ Specifications and Features Ensure all required fields are completed accurately. ●

Add a New User to My Seller Center Account User Roles Admin: Admin access gives the user the ability to manage and make updates to all areas in Seller Center including: ● Generating credentials to access Walmart's Rest APIs. ● Requesting access to sell in special approval categories. ● Creating new user accounts to provide Seller Center access to members of your company. ● Reviewing, signing and accepting binding legal agreements in Seller Center on behalf of the seller. Read and Write: Read and Write access gives the user the ability to perform operational tasks in Seller Center such as setting up items or viewing reports. Read Only: Read Only access gives the user the ability to view data or create and download reports. Users with Read Only access cannot update or modify existing data. Add a New User ● ● ● Step 1 – Get Started Navigate to the User Management page in Seller Center. Step 2 – Add User Select Add User at the top right. As a reminder, only sellers with admin level access can add users within Seller Center. Step 3 – Add User Info Enter the new user’s information, including their name, email address and their role. Select Add to send an email invitation to the new user. The email will include a link that the new user can use to create their account and set their password.

  5. Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) Overview Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) allows sellers to store their inventory at Walmart fulfillment centers. When a customer places an order on Walmart.com, we’ll pick, pack, and ship the item to the customer on your behalf. WFS also handles all customer support and returns for these orders. The program enables you to spend more time focusing on increasing sales, while having confidence that your orders will be delivered quickly and with outstanding customer support. The WFS end-to-end fulfillment experience comes with access to Walmart omni-channel capabilities such as our Free & Easy Returns program. Participating items are displayed with "2-day shipping" and "Fulfilled by Walmart" tags for increased product visibility, which may help improve conversion. Then create or convert your products to Walmart-fulfilled listings. Next, you’ll send your inventory to your assigned Walmart fulfillment center, where we’ll store your products, prepare them for shipping when an order is placed, deliver your items, support your customer inquiries, and process any returns. Product Requirements There are some limits to the types of products that can be included in the program: ● Products must ship to Walmart fulfillment centers from within the United States ● No temperature-regulated products ● No prohibited products ● Maximum product weight is 500 lb. (Includes item packaging) ● Maximum product dimensions of 120" x 105" x 93" (Includes item packaging) Program Fee Structure Walmart Fulfillment Services costs 15% less* than most competitors. Our simple and straightforward cost structure includes a fixed monthly storage fee and a standard fulfillment fee

Standard Fulfillment The fulfillment fee for standard items includes a base fee, plus additional fees for apparel, hazardous materials, items with low retail prices and oversize items. Standard items are shipped by small parcel. An item is considered standard when it meets these criteria: ● ● ● Unit weight is less than or equal to 150 lb., including packaging. Longest side is less than or equal to 108 inches, including packaging. Longest side + girth* is less than or equal to 165 inches, including packaging. Calculate the Base Fee for Standard Items Step 1 – Measure your item’s dimensions. You’ll need these to calculate dimensional weight. If your item is oversize, it may determine the starting unit weight and have an additional fee. Step 2 – Determine your item’s shipping weight. If your item is . . . Use . . . To get final shipping weight . . . ● Add 0.25 lb. for packaging materials ● Then round up to the nearest pound. < 1 lb. Unit weight Between 1 lb. and up to 150 lb. Add $1 Oversize Your item meets at least one of these criteria: ● Longest side greater than 48" and up to 96” ● Median side greater than 30" ● Longest side + girth greater than 105" and up to 130” Add $3 Your item meets at least one of these criteria: ● Longest side greater than 96" and up to 108” ● Longest side + girth greater than 130" and up to 165” Add $20 The unit weight also starts at 90 lb. when determining the fulfillment fee.

  9. Storage The storage fee is the cost of storing your items at a Walmart fulfillment center. It's based on the volume of the product being stored and the length of time. The fees displayed below are based on a 30-day calendar month. (You can track how long items have been at fulfillment centers with the Inventory Health Report.) Items Stored for Fewer Than 365 Days Length of Time Storage Fee Per Cubic Foot* January–September $0.75 per cubic foot per month October–December $0.75 per cubic foot per month for items stored for fewer than or up to 30 days Add $1.50 per cubic foot per month for items stored for more than 30 days * Unit cubic feet = (length x width x height in inches) / 1,728 Items Stored for More Than 365 Days Length of Time Storage Fee Per Cubic Foot* More than 12 months Up to $7.50 per cubic foot per month Problem Inventory Problem inventory is any inbound shipment that can’t be received into a Walmart fulfillment center. It may be returned to you at your expense if we can’t reach a resolution. Issue Chargeback Fee Per Unit Missing or incorrect label $0.65 Missing or incorrect poly bag $0.80 Return Processing (formerly known as Return Shipping) The return processing fee (formerly known as return shipping fee) is based on shipping weight. Disposal fee + $0.40 per lb. shipping cost Hazmat Items Add $0.50 to the base fee Brand Portal: Overview Overview  You can register your brand in the Walmart Brand Portal to report legitimate claims of intellectual property infringement for items listed on Walmart.com, including claims of copyright, trademark, patent and counterfeit. In addition, you can also assign ownership rights and update privileges to an acting brand owner and authorized resellers. In this guide, you'll learn about the eligibility requirements to register your brand.

  11. How Does it Work? At this time, only the following can submit an application to the Brand Portal to pass the verification process for registration: ● A rights owner with a registered United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) trademark.  ● An authorized third-party brand protection agency.  ● An authorized legal representative.  If you're an authorized third-party, ask the rights owner to submit an application. Once registered, the rights owner can add you to their dashboard as a user or reporter to submit claims on their behalf.    Additional Guidelines You can assign an acting brand owner or authorized reseller to represent your brand across all channels from the Brand Portfolio page. In the Brand Portfolio history section, you can view, search and filter the history of seller assignments for your brands. Acting brand owners have the authority to update your brand's item content over any other Marketplace seller, including authorized resellers. Info needed for Brand Portal General Details 1.
