We saw an opportunity to expand a typical Preschool’s morning activities into Daycare centres in the afternoon. We acquired the first centre, hired a global consultant to help define the setup, learning and monitoring methodologies and then used the experience to scale up to other centres. The main motivation was the satisfaction of offering a much-needed service and helping young parents in their parenthood journey; we positioned ourselves as India’s first Preschool & Daycare Chain. Today, with the huge opportu- nity we see due to the Maternity Act, through implementing Creche requirements for all companies, we are focused on setting up in-house creches for companies across India.
