CHALLENGE SOLUTION Two primary challenges for developers to work on, Engaging race fans in new digital ways while encouraging responsible drinking. Ensuring all 300,000 attendees have access to fresh, cold beers without having long queues and stock shortages. • Heineken attracted over 200 developers to its keynote and workshop. • 4 innovative solutions emerged to meet Heineken's challenges. This includes a gamified interactive campaign for responsible drinking, a queue monitoring app for operational efficiency, a smart cooler system for demand prediction, and an AI-powered chatbot promoting responsible consumption among race attendees.
IMPACT The hackathon generated solutions that not only fostered responsible alcohol consumption through engaging platforms but also significantly enhanced customer satisfaction by reducing wait times and streamlining logistics for an optimised Singapore GP experience. Not only that, Heineken was also able to showcase their commitment to innovation and build stronger brand recognition amongst tech talents by interacting with hundreds of developers and innovators during the event.
