NEET • National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the admission of students willing to pursue their undergraduate studies in the Medical functional area. • . How are admissions done through NEET? Admissions are based on the seat allotments. Various governmental seat allotments are there which is classified into various categories as follows • State Government Quota Seats • All India Quota Seats • NRI Quotas/Seat/ Management Quota Seats • Central Pool Quota Seats
Exam Pattern • NEET is the exam conducted for about 03.00 hours (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.) with 180 objective type questions. These questions are from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology(includes both botany and zoology).
Eligibility Criteria • Candidates' age should be 17 or should complete at the time of admission. The upper age limit for seeking admissions is 25years. Relaxation in upper age limit for the SC/ST based candidates. • Persons of Indian Origin, Overseas Citizens of India, Indian Nationals, Non resident Indians are eligible to take the test. • A number of attempts a candidate can attend is that 3years, which is uniform for all candidates. • Candidates must have obtained 50% of marks together in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology
