Blog 1: Zipfsports.com Here Is How You Can Buy Good Baseball Glove…..Not The Expensive Ones! I, as a coach have noticed that many players struggle to catch a baseball or field a grounder. Moreover, many players lack fielding skills also. But some of the fielding difficulty has to do with gloves as well. So, here is a short note on cheap baseball gloves for players aged 12 or younger. Now understand the most obvious sign of wrong fielding is your kid wearing the wrong glove. The ball often pops out after the catch because the grip of the glove is not that good. The less obvious but more telling is that the gloves can’t easily squeeze the pocket of the glove shut. Here is a question? Why does this happen? It can happen because of three reasons. 1. Either the glove is too big 2. Either it is too stiff 3. Or, the glove is poorly constructed. Well, whatever the reason be, when you are shopping for a glove, it is tempting to choose a high quality, and a stiff glove that makes your child’s fielding even more effective. Especially, if your child is below 12, buying an expensive glove is not that worth. Hence, make sure that your child’s baseball gloves should be of less value but good. So, simplify your life and don’t go for expensive ones. In my opinion, all brands are good but some of them are pretty expensive. But there is nothing to fret about it; you can still buy best ones at a lesser price.
