In Arabian Peninsula, Men’s Jubbas and Thobes have been around for centuries, but their style constantly changing and has evolved with time. These garments are famous among Muslim men as a sign of faith, elegance, and identity. During Islamic religious festivities, men tend to buy and wear Jubbas and Thobes, especially looking for designs that are lightweight and loose-fitter such as striped Jubba Thobes or long sleeve Thobes. Thawb is also called “Tobe” or “Thobe” and is known by other names in different regions. It is an ankle- length robe commonly worn in the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, and North Africa, and another style of the thawb varies slightly among the various regions in the area. If we talk about style, its sleeves and collar can be stiffened to give a more formal appearance. It is most commonly worn by men and normal cotton fabric is used to make these Thawbs as cotton is considered the most comfortable fabric. But I have observed that in some cold regions, sheep’s wool can also be used, especially in colder regions like Iraq and Syria. Jubba is a long plain dress that is similar to a robe in appearance and comes in full-length sizes. Men can wear white shirts and cotton pants under the Jubba.
