Gene Expression Biomarker Definition • A set of sequences/genes/transcripts identified via some sequence database (Entrez Gene, GenBank, Affymetrix,…) • Each sequences’ expression value • An algorithm that allows a new gene expression profile to be matched against the Biomarker and produces a score
